DESIGN – the first and most important step of the journey on the road to your finished product.

After the initial consultation (when you give us the brief or rough idea) and when you've agreed to the quote, our Design Department will produce a 'proof'. Proofing is a vital stage in any print job – it allows you, the client, to see that we have interpreted your ideas correctly and that your project is progressing in the right direction!

We encourage clients' views and opinions at every stage. Please note that when we issue the quote for your work, the proofing procedure is included. We often hear of situations where the client has been sent a final bill which in no way reflects the original quote. This is usually because no allowance is made for corrections after the first proof and consequently charges apply each time a subsequent proof is required. In the unlikely event that we have to charge for any unforeseen extras e.g. buying additional pictures, we will inform you before we proceed.

All this 'design talk' can seem a bit daunting, but we know that there are many jobs which don't necessarily require major discussion! Every day we receive calls to order letterheads, business cards etc. which need only basic design.
